Lyrics by Yuki Kajiura

- The stars glimmer quietly and fall from the sky, one by one.
- The heavens and the earth are filled with unanswered prayers.
- What shines on the thin branch is the future that failed to bloom.
- Its bud falls to the ground, filled with regret.
- Look, the time has come, and the golden fruit is ripe.
- Pluck it with those hands, and the world shall come to an end.
- The unblemished whiteness of the falling snow.
- It ceases to be, once it comes to know warmth.
- Your beautiful dreams have only served to tear you apart.
- Yet your cold eyes, set upon the truth, betray a hint of your kindness.
- The stars sparkle fiercely, rebelling against the heavens.
- They pray vengefully, until this sky is brought down.
- I do not need flowers to mourn me with.
- Just grant me my wish, before my heart falls apart.
- I long to see the moment, when the hope you entrusted me
- Shines forth with a brilliant light
- Everyone has shed tears as they yearned for wings.
- Their souls play a chorus, filling the whole sky.
- When burnt-up wishes pry open the sky,
- Surely the flowers in my hometown will be in full bloom.
- The stars sparkled fiercely, leaving remains of their dreams.
- Tell me the path I must take, o gentle moonlight --
- To the farthest reaches, where peace is said to exist.
- The stars glimmer quietly, filling the sky with prayers.
- They wait for your cry, which puts an end to this dream.
